My native place is close to these attractions in Konni. I should first say to myself "Lucky you". This place is heavenly especially during/ after rains. You can be care free, roam around and experience pure un-adultered smell of earth. Roam around the rubber fields and stay at a home nearby, if possible. I learnt to appreciate and thank nature living close to it during my vacations. I used to wonder how beautiful each creation is ! Do you ? Whatever your reaction is -Yes or No or May be, get a bike or a jeep- sit back or drive and keep driving slowly, gazing around these beautiful places. You should be patient to look around, stop your vehicle sometimes and have a tea. Talk to the tea vendor, eat a Big Banana (Nentrapazham), which would have been picked straight from the banana plant you can possibly see. Have a Tapoica(Kappa) with spicy fish curry and experience how pure and nutritious nature can be in it's raw form.
